Redo XXL in Potsdam

Were there the day before yesterday and it was, certainly due to the Corona, pretty empty (which is unusual but better for us ?). The food came pretty quickly, it was delicious, and the waiter was friendly and accommodating. All in all a great evening. ? Gladly again ?

An XXL portion is good for filling up. ;) Food was delicious and the atmosphere is pleasant. The staff was friendly and for the size of the portion the food came soon after the order. Gladly again!

Very nice staff with appropriate service. Saturation guaranteed ? it tasted also cozy. Great place to go out with friends and family. PS: The ladies toilet is not that nice.

Well, I wouldn't go there again. The schnitzel I had was fried in old oil. The fries also don't taste the way fries should taste. Somehow still unfinished. The pepper sauce is completely runny and actually has nothing to do with sauce.

Were eating at the Redo in Potsdam yesterday! The service staff was really nice and tried hard and was always there! The Chef de Cuisine has it all! The meat on our 3kg Kaiser platter was spot on! Perfect! The fries are super fresh and delicious! And next time we will also try the peach lemonade ??

The service is really nice and prices are very ok for the food. But I was expecting my kayser schnitzel a little more crispy. Maybe because of the cheese/mushroons on the top of it became more soft. My advice, if you like your schnitzel crispy is: take the regular schnitzel and then buy a separeted sauce.

After a long time we returned to the Redo. Full of anticipation, because until then we only had positive reports from Potsdam and Wildau. As usual, the staff was very friendly. The table was not prepared for the next guests. Empty mayonnaise tube. Table not wiped ect. The food was delicious except for the side salads ... Unfortunately, they were anything but fresh! Furthermore there are e.g. No more sauces included with the 2kg schnitzel offer ?! Should then be changed on the wall advertising in the guest room and noted on the map! Not so long ago there were 3 sauces with it! Everything was calculated individually on the other plate too! Please state that in the card that your Xxxxl offers are associated with further, not insignificant additional costs! When I order a carbonated drink ... I expect it to include this too! The Sprite was completely without, the Cola even added a touch. There was no more toilet paper in the ladies' room. The friendly employee wanted to take care of what ... as it turned out later unfortunately ... he didn't! Which was also very annoying. In order to pack the leftover food, you unfortunately had to ask for suitable material x times. Conclusion of the day ..... We were very disappointed! We are otherwise frugal, calm guests. Understand when a shop is full and busy. It is a shame when the quality standard of a restaurant drops. We hope very much ... it was only for once that "chaotic" day! And as a guest it is quite annoying when you have to ask for everything! That spoils the good mood!

Mega experience. A great restaurant. Super nice fast service. Serverine (owl) is EXTREMELY kind and attentive. XXL roulade 1400g with dumplings and red cabbage, H A M M E R. Christian the cook gets 5 stars from me. We need such a place in Hanover. TOP!!!!! Sandra and Karsten from Hanover (have been here 3 times).

Unfortunately our visit to the REDO was a total letdown ... after about 20 minutes our order was taken, but only the drinks, according to the waitress. She would take the food when she brings us the drinks ... another 20 minutes later our drinks were brought, but she seemed to have forgotten to take our food order. Instead, she had a drink at the next table with a guest. (!!!) does not work ... After over an hour and meanwhile 2 complaints from our side, we were able to order our food. Meanwhile, new guests came here and there who had even finished eating before we even ordered anything. After we waited a good 1 hour and 40 minutes and were about to leave, our food arrived, which unfortunately did not match the quality we knew from our last visit. We have never seen anything like it. It's one thing when there's a lot to do, but having to wait over an hour before you can order food, if you don't even get a response or an apology from the waiter, you can no longer muster up any understanding. We will not visit the REDO anymore.

Gastronomy with XXL fun factor. Just reading the map doesn't leave an eye dry. The location was busy today. Digital card for electronic ordering and paying from the table is therefore highly recommended. Works flawlessly. Service friendly. Food / drinks great. Satisfied all round.

Keep coming back here. Not only the huge portions are great but also the salads and other little things. Great quality, great size ?. To be recommended again and again.

Far too high a price for poor quality meat that is at the limit of edibility! I strongly advise you not to go there! The homemade french fries are the only small consolation that doesn't make me regret having to put 1 star. Un prix beaucoup trop élevé pour une qualité de viande médiocre à la limite du mangeable! Je vous déconseille fortement d'y mettre les pieds! Les frites maisons son la seule petite consolation qui ne me fait pas regretter de devoir mettre 1 étoiles.

We had dinner twice in Potsdam in the Redo XXL. First of all, the online booking is made in no time at all. The first time we ordered normal portions, the second time we ordered an XXL portion on the recommendation of the cook, which we shared. Both tasted great. Even with the XXL portions, the quality is very good. The salads and dips are homemade and just delicious. The staff, we were served by Severine Richter both times, are very attentive and friendly. We can highly recommend the restaurant.

We went to the Redo on Tuesday evening to have something to eat in the evening. A lot to us that it has been redesigned in the guest room. When the waiter came to take our order, it became clear to us that something had not only been changed in the guest room but also by the staff. At an Indian restaurant, I wouldn't be surprised if I had an Indian waiter, but at the Redo, I would. Since I've been there several times and found the German staff to be very nice and polite. In any case, we ordered and the drinks came after a short time. What I can't say about the food I ordered. After 45 minutes of waiting for food we asked the waiter whether our order was still coming. By the way, during this time hardly any food was brought outside in the restaurant. The waiters were more busy bringing drinks outside. At least our food came after all. We had schnitzel with a fried egg and mushroom sauce. The food was lukewarm and the mushroom sauce already had a skin. Apart from that there were hardly any mushrooms in it. We decided to eat anyway because we had waited so long. When we talked to the waiter about why the meal was taking so long, he apologized to us and offered us the drinks on the house. Apparently the cook was also replaced when the staff was redesigned. The result of the story will be that in the future we will visit restaurants that are not in the hands of Mr. Redo.

As usual from XXL Redo, there is also very delicious food in Potsdam ? Was there spontaneously during lunchtime and there was still plenty of choice of seats ... The service was very friendly and it was fun to have lunch here ??? Well : and the 400 gram schnitzel with the special fries was of course extremely delicious ?

Great restaurant. Really recommended for true XXL fans. Price is top for the quantity and quality. From time to time you can see the landlord.

We always have great evenings with delicious food in the REDO XXL. The prices are unbeatable for good quality. 8 people (3 children, 5 adults) with starter, main course and 5L of coke for less than € 125 ... You can't complain! Especially today the staff was in a great mood and gave us an unforgettable evening. We always like to come back! Highly recommended.

The food was delicious best schnitzel we have ever eaten!! Very big portion for 20 euros. The bad thing was they didn't have english menu, and the waiter was not so helpful.

XXL Portion, XS taste

If your're looking for really large portions and kinda great food, this is it. Has a huge menu, with everything you could ever want: schnitzel, steak, spareribs, pastas, etc. Again, the portions are quite huge, but the prices are ok. Nice atmosphere in the restaurant, and you can even take a picture when you leave, for free! Nice place to drink a beer also!

XXL quantity, XXL taste, S prices. Friendly staff, nice location. Very clever idea to offer sauces with the brand name of the restaurant in collaboration with Hellmann's. Mayonnaise was awesome.

Food is great, prices are really cheap. Plates are huge. One minus: they are absolutely not flexible if you want to divert from the menu card, example ask fries with a plate that does not has this option in the menu.

Awesome atmosphere. Decent food. Recommend it for sure.
